Personal Data Protection Notice

This notice explains, under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), how we process the personal data of visitors to our website and of people who contact us. The Turkish version is the full, authoritative text; this page is a summary.

2. What we process, why, and on what legal basis

We do not ask for special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or biometric data) through the website or by e-mail. Please do not send them.

3. Recipients and transfers abroad

In Türkiye, data may be shared, as far as necessary, with public authorities as required by law, banks, accountants, shipping and logistics companies, legal and other advisers, IT and hosting providers and business partners. Our website uses the following Google services: Google Analytics (visit statistics; runs only if you accept analytics cookies), Google Maps (the map on the contact page) and YouTube (in the video gallery, only when you play a video). When you view the contact page or start the relevant service, your browser connects to Google servers abroad and information such as your IP address reaches Google. We serve our fonts from our own server. The form on our payment page displays our payment provider’s page; when you open it your browser connects to the payment provider’s server. Transfers abroad are made in line with Article 9 of the KVKK as amended by Law No. 7499.

4. Retention and security

We keep data for the period required by the relevant legislation, or if there is none, for as long as needed for the purpose. After that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. We take technical and administrative measures under Article 12 of the KVKK.

5. Your rights (KVKK Article 11)

You may apply to Yaytek to learn whether your data is processed; request information; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or wrong data; request deletion or destruction under Article 7; request that these actions be notified to recipients; object to a result against you arising from exclusively automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

A representative needs a special power of attorney issued by a notary. We reply within thirty days. If you find the reply inadequate you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority within thirty days of learning the reply, and in any case within sixty days of your application (Article 14).

7. Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_G-WM0KMHR6HD, up to 2 years) for visit statistics. They run only if you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser (yaytek_cerez) and you can change it at any time.
